SHERBROOKE, Que. – Luke Woodworth sealed it in the shootout as the Drummondville Voltigeurs edged the Sherbrooke Phoenix 3-2 on Friday.

Sam Oliver scored the first goal in the shootout for the Voltigeurs (8-7-0). In regulation, Tyler Peddle and Charles-Antoine Dumont scored one apiece for Drummondville while Jacob Goobie made 36 saves before making two more in the shootout.

Ethan Gauthier scored two goals for Sherbrooke (13-1-1-1). Jakob Robillard stopped 27-of-29 shots in the loss.

The Voltigeurs went up 2-0 early in the third period before Gauthier pulled the Phoenix into a tie game to send it to overtime. Sherbrooke missed both opportunities in the shootout.
