As the cost of living crisis continues to leave people out of pocket, new research by OKdo technology has found that many people have smartphones, tablets and smartwatches tucked away in cupboards, attics and basements which they could turn into cash.

Over two thirds of Britons (68 percent) have at least one old charger, while over half (52 percent) have at least one old laptop stored away.

More than half (51 percent) are also holding onto at least one smartphone they no longer use.

Having a quick clear out could mean people are hundreds, if not thousands of pounds, better off.
