Kate Middleton style: Duchess stuns at Royal Variety Performance in affordable earrings

Kate Middleton wowed as always as she stepped out at the Royal Variety Performance. The annual celebration raises money for the Royal Variety Charity, which supports those who have worked in the entertainment industry that are now sick, elderly or impoverished.

Kate sported an emerald green floor-length Jenny Packham dress.

It stunned the nation, and is now sold out on the Harrods website, no doubt because royal fans flocked to purchase the gorgeous gown.

A fan of sustainable fashion, she recycled the same dress that she wore on the 2019 Royal Tour, when she visited Pakistan’s National Monument.

Stylish as ever, Kate paired the dress with a matching bejewelled green clutch.

Her emerald green suede heels were also a perfect colour match, ensuring that the royal looked pristine and put together.

Royal fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the ensemble, with @Renae131 stating: “She looks beautiful! I don’t think there is a colour she can’t wear.”

Jewellery wise, she opted for statement gold earrings.

The Zenyu Chandelier Hoop Earrings were from Missoma, and despite Kate’s royal status, can be bought on a budget.

DON’T MISS:

At £125, the 18ct gold plated hoops are attainable for the modern woman.

Those doing some last minute Christmas shopping can give their loved ones the royal treatment with these earrings.

Of course, Kate is in possession of some exquisite, expensive heirlooms, such as the late Diana’s engagement ring.

Jeweller Susannah Lovis estimated that this ring would be worth approximately £150,000 now, as reported by Marie Claire.

But, Kate shows that she can be just as effortlessly elegant in affordable pieces.

@DancingInfinit1 stated on Twitter: “#DuchessofCambridge invented glam.”

Kate cleverly styled her hair in curls on one side of her face so that the other side unveiled her earring.

And it’s not the first time she wore these earrings; she was also spotted in them on her 2019 tour to Pakistan.

A fan of the high street, Kate has another pair of Missoma earrings: the Mini Pyramid Charm Hoop Earrings.

These earrings would only set gold jewellery lovers back £85.

Royals fans could not help but notice that Kate is very passionate about sustainability, and how her views are reflected through her dress and accessories choices.

@LanahD33 tweeted: “She walks the talk on the environment, at least fashion wise.”

You can catch Kate tonight, with the Royal Variety Performance being aired on ITV1 at 7.20pm.

Expect music performances from Sir Rod Stewart, Ed Sheeran, Years and Years, Elvis Costello, Gregory Porter, James Blunt and Anne Marie.
