Family Fortunes will air this evening at 7pm on ITV. Gino D’Acampo will return as host, having made his debut on the show in 2020. Tonight, two families will go head-to-head as they try to name the most popular answer to survey-based questions posed to a hundred people.

He spoke on the programmes about his work developing ready meals, beginning with the Tesco Finest range.

Gino was then offered multiple TV gigs, becoming a judge on both Too Many Cooks and Soapstar Superchef.

In 2009, the chef was crowned the winner of the ninth series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

Around the same time, he started to appear on This Morning, becoming the show’s regular chef.

From 2011 until 2014, Gino co-presented ITV’s daytime cookery programme Let’s Do Lunch With Gino and Mel.

Gino also presented ITV’s There’s No Taste Like Home for thirty episodes.

In 2013, the Italian chef launched a chain of restaurants, called Gino D’Acampo My Pasta Bar or Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant.

The first Pasta Bar opened on Fleet Street, central London, and there are now multiple across London and in Manchester.

Since 2013, Gino has hosted Gino’s Italian Escape for seven series, filled in as team captain for both Holly Willoughby and then Fearne Cotton on Celebrity Juice, and presented Channel Five’s Gino’s Win Your Wish List.

In 2020, Gino became the new host of ITV’s Family Fortunes, and will be presenting the show again this year.

The chef lives with his wife Jessica, whom he married in 2002, and their three children.

The family live in a £1.25million home in Hertfordshire, but also have a second home in Sardinia, Italy.
